Is RuleCaddy really free?
Yes, RuleCaddy is completely free. An advertisement is shown before each search result. If you prefer an ad-free experience, you can unlock it with a one-time in-app purchase for €2.99 — no subscription.
How do I remove the ads?
Tap "Enjoy ad-free" in the app or go to Settings. The one-time purchase of €2.99 applies permanently across all your devices sharing the same Apple ID.
Are the golf rules official?
The content is based on the official Rules of Golf by R&A and USGA, but has been summarised in our own words for informational purposes only. In the event of rule disputes, the official rulebooks are always authoritative.
Does the app work offline?
Rule cards are stored locally and can be accessed offline. The AI summary, however, requires an active internet connection.
Purchase not transferred / restored?
