2. Description of services

RuleCaddy is an app for golfers that helps to look up rules situations quickly and clearly. The app provides rules information and answers questions in natural language. The content is intended solely for general informational purposes and does not replace the official rulebooks of golf.

3. Requirements for use

Use of the App requires:

• An iOS device running a supported operating system version
• An active internet connection for certain features
• An Apple ID for in-app purchases

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over.

4. In-App Purchases (RuleCaddy Pro)

The App offers optional paid content (RuleCaddy Pro). This is processed as a one-time purchase (Non-Consumable) via the Apple App Store. With the purchase, you receive permanent access to the premium features on all your devices linked to the same Apple ID.

Purchases can be managed via your Apple ID settings. Apple's payment terms apply. A right of withdrawal is possible in accordance with Apple's policies within 14 days of purchase, provided the content has not been fully used.

5. Advertising

The free version of the App contains advertisements delivered via Google AdMob. By purchasing RuleCaddy Pro, advertisements are disabled.

6. Intellectual property

All content in the App — including texts, graphics, icons and the app design — is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution or any other use without express written permission is not permitted.

7. Disclaimer

The rules information provided in the App has been compiled with care, but does not claim to be complete or accurate. In the event of rules disputes, the official rulebooks of golf (R&A / USGA) are always authoritative.

Liability for damages arising from the use or non-use of the information provided is excluded, unless there is intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.

8. Availability

We endeavour to ensure the App is available with as few interruptions as possible. However, there is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue the App at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms of Use

We reserve the right to adjust these Terms of Use as necessary. Users will be informed of material changes in an appropriate manner. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers within the EU, the mandatory law of the consumer's country of residence remains reserved where applicable.
